What’s on your walls in 2015

To kick things off, 2015 has seen a huge surge in popularity for faux effect wallpapers, especially those replicating traditional building materials such as brick, stone and wood. This has been a product of people wanting the rustic aesthetics of the materials in their home without the hassle of a major decorating overhaul. These high quality photographic wallpapers are real game changers and can be used super effectively, such as using brick wallpaper to create a standout chimney breast, or wood wallpaper around a kitchen breakfast bar for a bucolic finish.

The popularity of photographic wallpapers doesn’t stop there, though. As printing technologies have improved over recent years, so too has the popularity of photographic wallpaper which can include anything from animals, to cityscapes to books. The possibilities are endless and we have seen so many brilliant photographic wallpapers in 2015.

Children’s wallpaper in 2015

Finally, for children’s wallpaper there has been one resounding winner – Minions. Children have been going absolutely wild for Minions and obviously have wanted them splashed all over their bedroom walls. Following closely behind Minions has been the ever-popular superhero and comic book style wallpaper, such as Marvel and Disney.
